Three-day event held on the central lawn under festive tents at Santa Barbara’s Earl Warren Showgrounds.

Fifty orchid growers from the exotic reaches of Australia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, New Zealand, Peru, Taiwan and Venezuela, as well as the continental U.S. and Hawaii.

Purchase blooming to bare-root orchids, species to intergeneric hybrids from the whole orchid alphabet: graceful Angraecums, classic Cattleyas, stately Paphiopedilums to towering Vandas.

Learn about orchid culture from experienced orchid growers and attend free potting demonstrations.

At Earl Warren Showgrounds, Santa Barbara, CA Hours: Fri-Sat 9am to 5pm & Sun: 10am to 4pm Admission is free; Parking is $5 Directions to Earl Warren Showgrounds & the ORCHID FAIR: Exit Highway 101 at Las Positas, about mid-way between Santa Barbara’s downtown and SBOE. The showgrounds are next to the freeway on the mountain side; enter off the frontage road, Calle Real. (Coming from the South, exit at Las Positas, cross the intersection, then turn right into Fair Parking. Coming from the North, exit at Las Positas, turn left, cross bridge and turn left again, then right into Fair Parking.) Las Positas & Highway 101 ( 3400 Calle Real Santa Barbara, CA 93105) To Santa Barbara Orchid Estate: Take the Patterson Ave. Exit from 101 and turn toward the ocean; go about two miles South, following the yellow divider line to where it ends into Orchid Drive; continue up a hill into a neighborhood; we are on the left after three speed bumps.
