For hardiness and willingness to bloom it is hard to beat this species from Brazil and Argentina. It is known to take temperatures from the mid 20s up to 100 degrees.

A compact growing form of this Brazilian species. Overall height when in bloom is only about 12 inches. Flower petals are white; the lip also white but with a broad patch of lavender across the median lobe. Plants offered might differ a little from the picture. Plants offered are very small established divisions that made 1-2 flowers in spring 2025. Temperature Tolerant. April - May blooming. Species from Brazil.
