Outdoor growing orchids
For the beginner.
Most of these outdoor-growers can tolerate temperatures down to 32 degrees F or lower and up to 100F. Many actually do better outside than inside because of the difference between day and night temperatures, as well as the fresh air and filtered light, as under a tree or lath house. We water on average once a week - thoroughly so that plants are well watered, and then allowed to drain and almost dry before watering again. This can mean more frequent watering in the summer, and less in the winter.
