Seedlings of this lovely hybrid with arching plumes and blossoms in a range of yellow hues: cream to golden! From the exceptional cross between our Dendrobium speciosum fma. grandiflorum ‘SanBar Golden Galaxy’ AM/AOS and the full-flowered complex-hybrid Dendrobium Yondi Tina ‘Goliath’ FCC/AOC. Most seedling flower shapes have followed that of Yondi Tina, but the plant shape so far follows speciosum, but with thinner bulbs. This Australian Dendrobium cross was originally made by David Francis Butler of Australia and registered in 2003. Seedlings' flower fragrance has ranged from none to very aromatic. The foliage is particularly attractive, adding to year-round interest. Excellent, light-loving, outdoor growing-companion for Cattleyas and Cymbidiums.
**Please note that the plant example photo shows a plant with a tallest bulb of about 9 inches high. Shortest bulb seedlings can be between four six inches tall. These seedlings will all likely mature to taller bulb sizes over time.
Established blooming-size seedlings. 'Seedlings' are the offspring of pollination; as siblings they may be similar, yet each is unique and no two are identical in precise color or shape.
Temperature Tolerant. February - March blooming.
