A very charming, petite twig-epiphyte from Eastern and Central Madagascar. This species is one of those that have a flower which is nearly as big as the plant! If you don't fall in love with its captivating, night-fragrant flowers, then you're sure to fall for its white warty roots. The color can best be described as off-white with a jade-green hue, and the broad labellum is an opaque bright white. The plants offered here are in 2" pots, but they love to be grown in a wooden basket, or even mounted! Johan Hermans has told us that this plant, along with all/most of those so labeled in the US, is really fellow Malagasy species rutenbergianum, but we offer it as didieri so customers won't order a plant they already have. We can provide tags with either/both names.Intermediate to Temperatu. June blooming. Species from Madagascar.
