Myrmecophila tibicinis is an amazing parent for yielding beautiful and unusual colors in its progeny. Crossing it with the large bright orange Cattleya, Helen Veliz, has compounded that quality. We have seen yellows, salmons, oranges, and dark reds come from this cross, all held nicely above the foliage. The flowers on this clone have orange sepals and orange and red petals, the lip burgundy and orange. Flower width is 4” and the overall plant height when in flower is about 21”.Temperature Tolerant. May blooming.
