Cymbidium backbulbs are a great way to add new varieties to your collection. A good grower can grow a blooming size plant in two to three years.
Light
You can grow your backbulb with your other cymbidiums in bright filtered light.
Water
Water and fertilize as you do your other orchids; one to two times a week as needed.
Potting
Pot your backbulb into about a 4” pot. We use 1/8 to 1/4 size fir bark as a potting medium. When your backbulb has grown a nice sized bulb, pot it up to a 6” pot, and wait for it to bloom!
