Dendrobium speciosum var. pedunculatum One of the seven forms of
Dendrobium speciosum. Found in the dividing range in Queensland, and one of the few orchids that is even found on the inland dry side of these mountains. The plant is dwarfish in contrast to other forms of speciosum, making the compactum variety a good description. Flower size and inflorescence are somewhat typical of the other varieties. Flowers being creamy yellow and in this case distincly errect spikes. Sometimes fifty or more flowers. Temperature Tolerant. Winter blooming. Species from Australia.
