This intriguing species, the range of which spans across both sub-tropical and temperate southern Brazil, grows well in both outdoors and intermediate conditions. It has remained vigorous even when our unheated shadehouse has dropped in temperature to 28 degrees! Its delicate flowers are white and burgundy, and produce a light, tangy scent. Another desirable quality of this species is its reaching growth habit. It make a gorgeous specimen either cascading down from a hanging basket, or when trained up across a fence! We grow it in hanging pots, temporarily securing its growthes to the hanger.Cool to Intermediate. February blooming. Species from Southern Brazil.
